Gloucestershire is a county in South West England. The county comprises part of the Cotswold Hills, part of the flat fertile valley of the River Severn, and the entire Forest of Dean. The county town is the city of Gloucester, and other principal towns include Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cirencester and Dursley.
We were asked to assess the feasibility of adding an indoor swimming pool and spa to this boutique hotel in the Cotswolds. The existing hotel is built around a grade II listed house. Our concept design would add a barn-style building to the side of the new part of the hotel in an area currently occupied by a car park.
